LEGAL TITAN SIR GERALD WATT LAID TO REST FOLLOWING OFFICIAL FUNERAL

The nation has paid its final respects to one of its most distinguished sons. King’s Counsel Sir Gerald Watt was laid to rest on Wednesday, following an official funeral marked by powerful tributes.

Family members were joined by dignitaries and officials from various fields to remember the legal luminary who gave decades of unstinting service to the nation.

Sir Gerald was laid to rest at St George’s Anglican Church Cemetery, following the service at the Cathedral of St John the Divine.
