PM BROWNE WELCOMES ‘EXCITING’ TECHNOLOGY OF AMMONIA-POWERED SHIP ON VISIT TO A&B

Officials in Antigua and Barbuda have praised the work of Fortescue Shipping for having rolled out the world’s first ammonia dual-fuelled ship.

The Green Pioneer arrived in Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday, and will remain in St John’s for a week to accommodate tours of the vessel.

Governor General Sir Rodney Williams and Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne were among officials who toured the ship on Monday evening to observe its engine technology firsthand.
