GOVERNMENT CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY OF ‘TRANSFORMATIVE’ WIOC DEAL

Cabinet is hailing the West Indies Oil Company as a transformative national asset, eleven years after Prime Minister Gaston Browne signed the agreement transferring ownership to the people of Antigua and Barbuda.

As the energy company marks 65 years this year, cabinet says WIOC’s growth continues to deliver major economic benefits.
