Youth Senators look Forward To Representing
Two of the youngest Senators recently appointed to serve in the Upper House, the hon. Shenella Govia and Michael Freeland look forward to representing the youth of the nation.
At 23, Govia, who is the youngest Senator ever to be appointed, gives thanks to God and to Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne for his confidence in her abilities.
She is also overjoyed with the advancement that women are making in the political arena in the twin island state
Senator Freeland, the son of late Politician and former ALP Minister and St. George’s representative, Sir Adolphus Freeland, plans to carry on the family name and develop his own legacy.
