PM BROWNE FLAYS ‘CLUELESS’ OPPOSITION FOR PROMISING A POLICY ALREADY IN EFFECT
Prime Minister and Antigua Barbuda Labour Party leader, Gaston Browne, has chided the opposition United Progressive Party for uttering promises which he says have long existed, including during the years when the UPP formed the government.
He was referring to a promise by UPP leader, Jamale Pringle, that a UPP administration would remove all duties and taxes on imports used by farmers, in a bid to boost agricultural production.
Prime Minister Browne chides the opposition for being “clueless”, noting this policy has been in effect for years. He argues this is a sign of desperation from the UPP.
