GOVERNMENT SAYS MAJORITY OF ELIGIBLE PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS HAVE RECEIVED BACKPAY

Government says it is still working to complete payment of all retroactive salaries owed to public sector workers.

Director General of Communications in the Prime Minister’s Office, Maurice Merchant, told journalists at Thursday’s post-cabinet media briefing that most eligible public servants have already been paid.
