CCJ PRESIDENT REFUTES ALLEGATIONS OF ‘PANEL FIXING’
The president of the Caribbean Court of Justice has rejected allegations from fellow judges of “panel fixing” and “attempts to influence the outcome of cases.
There has been a detailed response from Justice Winston Anderson, following damning claims in leaked emails from other jurists on the regional court.
The complaints were recently chronicled by the Trinidad Express newspaper.
Justice Anderson acknowledges he may have handled a dispute over judicial dress code too strongly.
However, as he breaks his silence on the explosive allegations, Justice Anderson is resolute that the court will continue to serve the people of the region with independence fairness and integrity.
