Tourism Minister Challenges Regional Youth to Contribute to Tourism

Tourism Minister Hon. Charles ‘Max’ Fernandez has challenged regional youth to contribute to creating value in regional tourism. 

Speaking at the 2026 State of the Industry Conference’s Future Leaders’ Forum, Minister Fernandez asked, “Don’t only ask, ‘Where can I get a job in tourism?’ Instead ask, ‘Where can I create value in tourism?’ Ask, ‘What problem can I solve?’”  Fernandez also committed to the Caribbean Tourism Legacy Wall: “Being a catalyst for more local ownership in the Caribbean tourism industry.”
