The Advisor To The Minister Of National Security Michael Burton Lauds The Prisoners Work Program At Her Majesty’s Prison

Prisoners who work while incarcerated stand a better chance of staying away from criminal activities when they are eventually released.

That’s according to the advisor to the Minister of National Security, Michael Burton.

He comments come after public debate about the illegality of free labour.

Burton says this type of activity is a form of rehabilitation for the inmates.

He says the ones that work are compensated and special plans are made for them, as it relates to savings.
