Data on energy prices from the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank for July show the price of $14.50 in Antigua and Barbuda for a gallon of gasoline was well below the ECCU average of $17.66 during the month.

Montserrat had the highest gasoline price of $20.74 per gallon, with Dominica having the second highest price at $19.03.

Antigua and Barbuda’s diesel price of $14.25 was well below the ECCU average of $18.16 last month.

St Kitts and Nevis had the highest diesel price of $23.20, followed by Montserrat at $19.84.

Antigua and Barbuda has the second-lowest price in the ECCU for the 20-pound Liquefied Petroleum Gas at $32.00, with only St Kitts Nevis at $30.00 being lower, while the highest price was in Anguilla at $55.58 and $40.00 in Grenada.

Antigua and Barbuda also has the second-lowest price in the ECCU for the 100-pound LPG, at $155.00, only bettered by St Kitts Nevis at $140.00.

The highest prices are in St Lucia at $288.50 and Grenada at $276.00.
