A&B STANDS FIRM IN SUPPORT OF PEOPLE OF AFRICAN DESCENT DESPITE PRESSURE FROM LARGER OAS COUNTRIES

Antigua and Barbuda has vowed to stand its ground in supporting a proposed Inter-American Declaration, despite strong pushback from larger countries of the hemisphere.

The country’s ambassador to the Organisation of American States, Sir Ronald Sanders, is even suggesting the country should consider staying away from next month’s OAS General Assembly, if the declaration is not on the agenda.

Sir Ronald spoke exclusively with ABS News Monday afternoon.
