ABDF Coast Guard Suspends Search for Three Missing Fishermen

The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard has confirmed that it has suspended the search for three men who were reported missing at sea, during a fishing trip two Thursdays ago.

The search for Rowel Martin, Gregory Questelles and Cleofoster Jarvis was halted on Monday of this week.

However, ABDF Coast Guard told ABS News the search could resume, based on the significance of any new information that becomes available.

The families of the three say they received a tip on Monday night about a bucket at Crawl Beach which contained an identification card, phones and clothing.

They are making a fresh appeal to members of the public to provide any information they have or to pay attention to the eastern side of the island for any clues.

The men were last seen departing Point Wharf aboard the vessel, Lady Madesha.
