ABLP Has Significantly Reduced Income and Wealth Inequality – PM Browne

Prime Minister and Antigua Barbuda Labour Party Leader Gaston Browne says his administration has made major strides in reducing income and wealth inequality in Antigua and Barbuda.

Countries are measured in this area between 0 and 1, using the Gini coefficient. Zero is a state of perfect equality, while 1 is perfect inequality. Latest figures from the United Nations’ Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs show Antigua and Barbuda with a score of 0.48, which Prime Minister Browne says has been a major improvement, compared to when his administration first took office in 2014.
