ANTIGUANS COMMENT ON CUBAN BLOCKADE
Next Wednesday, the United Nations General Assembly will vote once again on the resolution to end the US- imposed embargo on Cuba.
The UN General Assembly has adopted the resolution to end the embargo almost 30 times.
There are Antiguans who have taken a firm stance with Cuba, given the Spanish- speaking country’s contributions to this country, the region, and the wider world.
Doctor James Knight agrees.
A motorcade will be held on Sunday in support of the Cuban people and the lifting of the blockade.
It starts at 10 in the morning at the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John’s Medical Centre and the public is invited to attend.
