APUA Fuel Variation Rate Increases 10%

The Fuel Variation Rate from the APUA is set for another increase, beginning tomorrow. 

The announcement made earlier Wednesday sees the Antigua Public Utilities Authority rate move from 80 cents to 88 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh).

The rate has been steadily increasing since April 2026 in line with escalating global fuel prices.
