CHINESE OFFICIALS HOLD CULTURAL EXCHANGE FOR YOUTH PARLIAMENTARIANS

Youth parliamentarians from across the Eastern Caribbean participated in a cultural exchange at China’s Embassy in Antigua and Barbuda on Tuesday evening.

House Speaker Osbert Frederick and China’s Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, Jiang Wei spoke glowingly of the young people’s impressive contributions and opportunities for deepening south-south cooperation.

The event was held hours after the youth parliamentarians participated in intense debate on economic diversification and resilience.
