EMS Staff Praised for ‘Outstanding Service’ During Carnival Festivities

Director of the Antigua and Barbuda Emergency Medical Services, Shawn Greenidge, has praised his staff for “going above and beyond” to serve the public during the recent Carnival festivities.

He has written to the management and staff to express thanks, noting that, “Your commitment, hard work, dedication, professionalism, and willingness to serve our nation during this very demanding period have not gone unnoticed.”

Greenidge says he is extremely proud of the team, and expresses gratitude for their continued support and dedication, while imploring them to “keep up the excellent work.”

The EMS responded to about 120 emergencies during the Carnival period, including 30 at Panorama alone, when heat exhaustion took a heavy toll on several patrons.
