Essential Items Donated to Denis Bowers Centre

Government senator Shaquan O’Neil has partnered with several other entrepreneurs to donate essential items to the Denis Bowers Rehabilitation Centre, formerly known as the Boys Training School in Wilikies.

The donation included educational supplies and personal care items, which were handed over to the facility’s manager, Randy Christopher on Tuesday.

Christopher thanked Senator O’Neil and the other benefactors for coming together to make the donation possible. Senator O’Neil says understanding the needs and purpose of the institution motivated the act of altruism.

He says the initiative is aimed at fostering a greater sense of well-being among the boys at the facility.
