FIRST-TIME GOVERNMENT SENATORS REACT TO APPOINTMENT

Ten government senators, five of them first-time lawmakers, took the oaths of allegiance, office and secrecy at Government House Friday morning.

The new legislators have expressed gratitude for the trust reposed in them by Prime Minister the Right Honourable Gaston Browne and are eager to make their mark in Parliament’s Upper House.
