Freemans Village Murder Victim Remembered as Community Icon

Antigua and Barbuda’s latest homicide victim has been identified as Eleazer “Fresshy” Francis of Freemans Village. He was shot dead at the superette he operated along the Freemans Village Main Road shortly after 8 Thursday morning.

All Saints West Member of Parliament, Hon. Anthony Smith Jr, took to social media to express his condolences to the victim’s family in the wake of the murder.

MP Smith says Francis was “more than a hardworking business owner. He was a cherished community icon whose shop stood as a symbol of kindness, convenience and opportunity.”

He adds, “Our community deserves answers and Eleazer and his family deserve justice.”
