LATE-NIGHT FIRE DAMAGES 3 JOSEPH LANE BUSINESSES

A supermarket, an internet cafe and a hair salon have been damaged, following a fire at Rojenco Plaza on Joseph Lane late Tuesday night.
Firefighters rushed to the scene in two tenders around 11:50 after receiving a report that a Chinese supermarket was ablaze.
Firefighters say they had to use the Jaws of Life and other rescue tools to force their way into the “well-fortified building.”
The Fire Brigade says the supermarket was extensively damaged by the blaze, the internet cafe had fire and smoke damage, while the hair salon had marks of smoke damage.
There were no reports of injuries and investigators say they are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
