LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS HEAD TO THE HIGH COURT

The law enforcers charged with Bruce Greenaway’s murder will face trial in the High Court.

Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel-Edwards committed the matter today.

The committal proceedings were completed after the Magistrate ruled against a defense attorney’s no-case submission.

The defendant’s Police Constable Jason Modeste, Lance Corporal Shakiel Thomas and Privates Armal Warner and Aliyah Martin will answer the murder charge after the September High Court criminal session begins.

The police officer and the three Defence Force soldiers were charged with murder after Greenaway’s lifeless body was discovered at Indian Creek on April 13, 2020.
