NEW LAW PASSED TO BOOST REGIONAL INFORMATION-SHARING ABOUT TRAVELERS

Members of Parliament’s Lower House have passed legislation aimed at strengthening regional security cooperation.

The Advance Passenger Information and Passenger Name Record Bill 2026 facilitates more effective information-sharing among participating Caricom countries.

The legislation repeals the 2016 Act and establishes a modern system for collecting, processing and sharing passenger data within the region.
