New Lighting System at V. C. Bird International Airport

A new LED Airfield Ground Lighting system has been installed at the V.C. Bird International Airport. 

In images revealed on social media, Airport Operations Manager, Rex Daly, shares the transition from the legacy Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) system.

Daly writes, “It is not simply about installing new lights.  It is about ensuring that the infrastructure supporting aircraft operations is safe, compliant, reliable, and fit for purpose.”
