‘NORMAL BUSINESS WILL GO ON’ – POLICE ALLAY FEARS OF EXPANSIVE LOCKDOWN FOR CHOGM

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is reiterating its assurance that there will be no islandwide shutdown of commercial activities during the country’s historic hosting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), from November 1 – 4.

Head of major events, Superintendent Elson Quammie provided an update during the first in a series of town hall meetings at John E. St Luce Finance and Conference Centre on Wednesday evening.
