‘OPPORTUNITY, NOT SYMPATHY’ – PM BROWNE CALLS FOR FAIR GLOBAL ORDER

Prime Minister the Right Honourable Gaston Browne is calling on the international community to move beyond expressions of solidarity and provide Small Island Developing States with the financing and investment needed to build resilient economies.

He was addressing the official launch of forums and other side events being held alongside the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

Prime Minister Browne said small states must be given fair opportunities to participate in the global economy.
