PM BROWNE DEFENDS STRONG TIES WITH BOTH US AND CHINA

Prime Minister the Right Honourable Gaston Browne is reaffirming his government’s commitment to maintaining strong relations with both China and the United States.

Prime Minister Browne says the country will not be forced to choose between the two global powers and two largest economies, arguing that both relationships are important to Antigua and Barbuda’s development.

He was speaking at a ceremony Tuesday evening to mark the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
