PM URGES FORMER LIAT WORKERS TO ACT DECISIVELY ON COMPASSIONATE OFFER

Prime Minister, Hon. Gaston Browne wants former LIAT workers to lobby their unions to accept the Government’s compassionate offer while it still stands.
The Government has revised its compassionate offer downwards to 32 per cent, representing its equity stake in LIAT 1974 Ltd.
Prime Minister Browne, who is also Finance Minister, urged the former employees to take matters into their own hands, in comments on Pointe FM’s Browne and Browne show.
