POLICE ACADEMY TO BE UPGRADED IN BOOST FOR TRAINING

The government has given a commitment to upgrade the Sir Wright F. George Police Academy.

The update was provided by Attorney General and Minister for Public Safety, Hon. Sir Steadroy Benjamin, during the passing out ceremony for 45 new police officers on Thursday.

Sir Steadroy was responding to a fresh call from the academy’s commandant, Superintendent Rodney Ellis, for the modernisation of the training facilities.
