POLICE REACH OUT TO CANADIAN OFFICIALS IN SEARCH FOR ALLEGED HUMAN REMAINS

Police say they still cannot confirm the exact location of alleged human remains reported in the waters off Parham, in the wake of a social media post alleging the remains were found three nautical miles offshore.

Police Commissioner Everton Jeffers says investigators are trying to identify the divers said to have made the discovery, in hopes of narrowing down the search area.

Jeffers provided an update during a news conference at the Force’s Headquarters on American Road on Thursday, where he renewed calls for anyone with information to come forward.
