Prime Minister Browne Meets with Commonwealth Secretary General
With less than 50 days to go until the 2026 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Gaston Browne has met with Commonwealth Secretary General, Her Excellency Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey in London.
According to the Commonwealth Secretariat, it was a timely opportunity to meet with the Prime Minister. A social media release indicates Browne and Botchwey discussed final preparations and our shared ambition for a transformative CHOGM2026.
H.E. Botchwey says she looks forward to welcoming Commonwealth leaders alongside Prime Minister Browne to Antigua and Barbuda this November, and working together to deliver a Commonwealth that works for 2.7 billion people.
