SENATE APPROVES APPROPRIATIONS BILL 2023

The Appropriations Bill, outlining government’s proposed 1.8 billion dollar budget for the fiscal year, has been passed in the senate.
Lawmakers in Parliament’s Upper House approved the legislation Tuesday night following two days of debate.
It has now been given the green light in both houses of the bicameral legislature, and will become law with the Governor General’s Assent.
