Social Protection Board Comes to Family’s Aid

A vulnerable family in Jennings has received a timely donation of essential supplies from the Social Protection Board in the Social and Urban Transformation Ministry.

Operations Manager at the Board Mary Baltimore was pleased to make the donation, noting “Their situation was truly heartbreaking, and we were deeply moved to be able to bring some much-needed support, comfort, and love.”

The donation included a wide range of essential items, from food and cold-storage supplies to household and personal-care necessities.

Baltimore continues, “Most importantly, the family was genuinely happy and grateful for the assistance. With their full permission and blessing, we were able to take and share these photos as a reminder of the importance of supporting families who are most vulnerable in our communities.”
