‘TWO YEARS SINCE YOU WERE TAKEN FROM ME’ – MOTHER OF MURDERED TEEN REFLECTS

Tuesday, August 18 marked two years since the grisly murder of 15-year-old Achazia James, whose body was discovered at Runaway Beach.

Questions remain about what happened to the teenager, and whether those responsible will ever be brought to justice.

Her grief-stricken mother, Asabi Charles, is reflecting on her beloved ‘KayKay’, saying she forgives those responsible for her murder, but continues the quest for justice.

Charles says, “I refuse to allow whoevertook your life to take the rest of mine too. I don’t want hatred living inside of me. I leave that part to God.”
