UWI FIC PRINCIPAL HAILS LAUNCH OF NEW POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMMES

The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus has launched two new postgraduate programmes aimed at building the region’s capacity to combat cyber threats.

The programmes combine cybersecurity training with artificial intelligence applications.

Campus principal, Professor C. Justin Robinson, says these programmes are crucial to the region in a fraught geopolitical environment, as he insists “We cannot rent out our security.”
