‘WE EXPECT A HIGH LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE’ – PM BROWNE DELIVERS CHARGE TO NEW CABINET

Prime Minister the Right Hon. Gaston Browne has told his cabinet colleagues that he expects excellence in all ministries.

He was addressing his first cabinet meeting since he led the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party to a landslide 15-2 victory in last Thursday’s general elections.

The meeting on Wednesday also included the three newly-appointed junior ministers, as well as Dr Philmore Benjamin, who will be nominated as deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.

Prime Minister Browne says there is a need to work diligently to address lingering national concerns, particularly water supply and the country’s road network.
