‘WE WILL NOT RETREAT’ – POLICE COMMISSIONER TALKS TOUGH AMID SPATE OF GUN CRIMES

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is vowing to maintain its pressure on criminals, in the wake of a continuing spate of gun crimes.

Police Commissioner Everton Jeffers has praised the men and women participating in Operation Restore Confidence, highlighting their efforts to execute warrants, conduct vehicle checkpoints and remove illegal firearms and ammunition from the nation’s streets.

The commissioner says Operation Restore Confidence represents an ongoing commitment to protecting communities and enforcing the law, insisting that the police will not back down in the face of criminal activity.
