Work on the Cancer Centre Advances with an Estimated Opening Date by January 2027

Antigua and Barbuda’s Cancer Treatment Centre is expected to begin operations by December 2026 or January 2027, following equipment installation, commissioning and staff onboarding.

Government officials say refurbishment of the Cancer Treatment Centre is nearing completion, with key equipment already purchased and awaiting installation. Once operational, the centre will provide advanced cancer treatment locally, reducing the need for patients to travel overseas for care.
