CALYPSO FARMER MURDER ACCUSED ON TRIAL

Thirty-seven-year-old Elon Ketwaroo is on trial in the High Court on a charge of murder.

The woman is accused of killing 72-year-old Carmona “The Mighty Farmer” Samuel during an altercation at Samuel’s farm September 10, 2017.

Samuel, a repeat winner of the Farmer of the Year competition, made it to the finals of the calypso competition several times.
