Nation could face Possible water Crisis

With only six weeks of water supply in the nation’s reservoirs, Antigua and Barbuda could face a possible water crisis.

Business Unit officials at the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) are reporting that surface water is providing some 30 percent the company’s daily water distribution.

They are proposing that water desalination would help but say it will not fully meet the demands.
