Committe Appointed to Oversee Public Accounts

The Lower House of Parliament has appointed a committee to oversee public accounts.

Under section 98 of the Constitution of Antigua and Barbuda, the Public Accounts Committee is a mandatory body that is chosen from among the membership of the house.

Finance and Economy Minister, the Hon. Harold Lovell made this announcement on Monday.

The Member of Parliament for the St. John’s City West Constituency who is the leader of the main opposition the ABLP, the Hon. Gaston Browne will Chair the Committee.
