THE ARRIVAL OF THE COVAX ASTRAZENECA VACCINES

At 9:45AM Thursday,24 thousand doses of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine arrived at the V.C. Bird International Airport. The doses are the first tranche from the World Health Organisation’s Covax facility. Among several officials on hand to witness and receive the purchases were Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Health Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph. There are 16 thousand doses yet to be received from the Covax facility by this country.
