Telecommunications Minister Tells ABS Citizens Will Be Able To Change Networks And Keep Their Phone Numbers, As Number Portability Draws Near

The government says number portability remains on its radar as part of continued improvements to the country’s telecommunications arrangements.

Number portability will allow customers of the telephone companies to change providers but keep their numbers, whether fixed line or mobile.
