Fresh Concerns Have Been Raised Regarding Marital Rape, And One Advocacy Group Points To Growing Complaints From Wives

The President of Women Against Rape (WAR) has called for increase awareness about the issue of marital rape.

Alexandrina Wong says the advocacy body has received a number of complaints from women who indicate that they have been violated by their husbands.

Wong expresses the view that persons usually reference the Bible to suggest that marital rape cannot exist.

She adds that this is a misconception that must be addressed.

The WAR president mentions that young men must be educated about developing healthy relationships with their female counterparts.
