OVER $20,000 IN DRUGS INTERCEPTED AT THE VC BIRD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

There’s been another major drug bust at the V.C. Bird International Airport.
Over 20 thousand dollars of illegal drugs was seized.
Both the K-9 and Narcotics officers were on duty at the airport yesterday when one of the sniffer dogs detected drugs hidden inside two cardboard boxes.
According to a police statement, the boxes were found to contain several packages of Cannabis.
One box had packages weighing five pounds, while the other was weighing 274 grams.
The substance, which has an estimated street value of $22, 740, has been taken to the police station pending further investigations.
