Gray’s Farm Man Charged With Country’s Ninth Murder
The police on Sunday arrested and charged a Grays Farm man with the country’s ninth homicide for 2013.
Jahred Mack 32yrs old of Grays Farm was charged following the fatal stabbing of Rosemarie Lynch of Perry Bay last Tuesday.
Lynch’s body was discovered in her Perry Bay home with multiple stab wounds to her upper body, following a 911 Emergency call. She died on the spot.
He is due to make an appearance before the court on Monday.
Meanwhile, the police have officially confirmed that the owner and operator of Zephy’s Tyre shop on All Saints Road, who was shot and wounded during a shooting incident on July 20th, have died. Zephaniah Joseph died sometime during the day on Sunday at the Mount St. Johns Medical Center.
However, the police are not in a position to say whether or not his death was as a result of the shooting; but are awaiting a post mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
The Commissioner of Police, Vere Browne expresses thanks to the general public, on behalf of the entire force for their assistance in whatever way they help in the investigations.
He further encourages the public to continue support the police in their efforts to fight crime.
