SCHOOL BUS PASSES ALSO BEING ISSUED

The government’s uniform grant initiative is doing more than facilitating the distribution of free school uniforms.

It is also offering a one stop shop for parents through a collaborative effort with the Transport Board.
Parents can also apply for their free bus passes in the hallway just outside the school uniform grant programme.

The bus pass is a national ID for government and private institutions.

Harris says the process is more efficient this year with the number of interns on hand, issuing approximately over two thousand passes thus far.

She details the necessary documentation to acquire the pass.

And for first timers.

The child has to be present for a photo to be taken for the pass which will be ready for collection in one week.
