SIR RONALD MAKES OBSERVATION ON US CITIZENSHIP

An observation this evening that some Antiguans and Barbudans who reside in the United States could be at a disadvantage in one area.
The point has been raised by Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to the United States, Sir Ronald Sanders.

He explains that they would enjoy far more protections if they choose the citizenship route.

He says while he served as High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, he found that there is a much greater inclination for Antiguans and Barbudans to apply for citizenship in that country.
