Antigua and Barbuda will be affected only minimally from Tropical Storm Dorian, with only some showers expected.
But if the country were to be faced with a more significant threat, it would mean evacuations may be necessary.
However, in many instances people living in vulnerable locations are given a choice of whether they want to vacate their homes.
National Office of Disaster Services Director Philmore Mullin gives his take on the matter.

He explains why he believes the State should have this power.
