DISABILITY ACTIVIST RECOGNIZED FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

Local disability activist Leslie Emmanuel is being recognized for his contributions over the last 9 years to the Disabled Peoples International North America and Caribbean region.

Today, the Public Relations Officer for the organization, along with a team from the Ministry of Social Transformation visited Emmanuel’s home to present him with a plaque.

Emmanuel, who serves as the Executive Director of the organization, encourages persons with disabilities to realize their potential and to positively influence others.
